TUITION FEES

Tuition fees are budgeted annually by the Governing Body and payment is compulsory.

Parents will be notified as soon as the Governing Body/Parent Budget Meeting has confirmed the amount payable.

The Governing Body determines a school fees deposit that is annually payable in advance before 15th December of each year.

Qualifying parents can apply annually for exemption on school fees (subsidy) at the Governing Body. All applications from BADISA and Children’s Home children must be accompanied by the necessary documents.

School fees are levied annually by 1 February and are payable in advance before or on 31 March. School fees can, with the approval of the Governing Body, be paid in ten equal payments from January to 1 October. The Governing Body reserves the right to withdraw payment of fees in equal parts should such payments be in arrears. Payments are due before or on the first working day of each month.

The Governing Body will take legal steps to collect this debt should an obligation be overdue for more than 30 days. All legal costs incurred on this account will be the responsibility of the payee. The full annual school fees will then be immediately payable.

In this regard we refer you to the SA School’s Act 84 of 1996, Section 41:
“The Governing Body of a public school may by process of Law enforce the payment of school fees by parents who are liable to pay in terms of section 40.”

The non-reception of monthly accounts cannot be used as an excuse for non-payment.

The school is cashless. Payment methods accepted is EFT, Stop Orders and Card Payments.

Payments are due on the first working day of each month or term and the final payment before 31 October. Parents of learners in matric must fulfill their financial responsibilities towards the school before the beginning of the final examinations. No testimonial can be given to a learner until all fees have been paid.

Any inquiries with regards to tuition fees must be made directly to the Financial Official.
